Rookie Andrea Bargnani scored 20 points to lead a balanced Toronto attack as the Raptors downed the Rockets, 106-90, on Wednesday at the Toyota Center. McGrady returned after missing a game with flu-like symptoms to score 22 points in the loss to Toronto for the Rockets, who have dropped four of their last six games overall. Shane Battier netted 16, while Rafer Alston contributed 12 points in defeat. The Rockets are a respectable 15-13 on the road this season. Houston will host the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday at the Toyota Center in the fourth and final meeting of the regular season between the clubs. The Rockets are 2-1 against the Spurs in the campaign. San Antonio has won three straight after losing its last two at Houston. Houston is the fifth seed in the Western Conference playoff race, 2 1/2 games ahead of the sixth-seeded Lakers. The Rockets are scheduled to play 13 of their final 25 games on the road.

Fantasy sports is no exception. Any intelligent discussion of the subject would probably start with a thesis statement or a definition of terms. Thankfully, this wont be an intelligent discussion. Let me just say that I am happy to take a place in this space alongside my talented colleagues, even our commissioner. Trash talking, I would argue, is primarily about amusing your friends, their sheeplike demeanors and sloping foreheads notwithstanding. Accuse a Giants fan of having a Joe Namath pillowcase. Wheres your opponent from? Give a look of concern no matter his reply, then say, I'll try to type slower for you next time. Is your opponent into politics? Label everyone a tax-and-spend corporate shill. Cap all that with a liberal application of irrelevance. By the time your foe makes sense of that, his starting running back will have had puppies. But what about you? Hmm? Recall a memorable slam? Have a tried-and-true technique?
